Happy 99th Birthday Willard

How do you celebrate your 99th Birthday when you’re part of the greatest generation? By going to a Cubs game with 4 generations of family.

Operation Warrior Wishes had the honor of working with the USO and the Chicago Cubs to honor World War 2,  99 year old Navy Veteran Willard Pingel as  the Hero Of The Game . He was joined by 13 family members including both his grandson Jeff and great granddaughter Erin ,who also serve. 4 generations of his family attended. The Cubs flew the W for  Willard in their  20- 9 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

THANK YOU to the Chicago Fire Department for their assistance in escorting Willard and his 95 year old wife Audrey to Wrigley Field.
