Warrior Wishes Come True In Minneapolis!

After Making Warrior Wishes come true in Orlando at the Pro Bowl, my dad made his way from sunny Florida to Frigid Minneapolis. to make Warrior Wishes at Superbowl LII!

Before hosting warriors at the “Big Game, ” my dad spent all week long making wishes come true at events across the city.  It all started Wednesday evening when we hosted warriors at the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team annual game

On Thursday, my dad had some time to relax & spent all morning at the NFL Media Center at Mall of America and even had lunch with our old friend, Dan Orlovsky, a retired NFL QB who has been a big supporter of our mission since 2012!

Thursday evening, was crazy!  He hosted warriors at the Legends for Charity dinner recognizing Tony Dungy

Then an hour later, he was making wishes come true at Ditka & Jaws Cigars with the stars.

Finally, he wrapped up the night making wishes come true at the EA sports Bowl.  There, the warriors got to meet Dak Prescott, Machine Gun Kelly & enjoyed closing out the night watching an amazing performance by Imagine Dragons!

On Friday, we had the honor of hosting warriors at one of our favorite events during superbowl, the Merlin Olsen Hall of Fame luncheon.  There the warriors had the exclusive opportunity to hang out with some of the NFL’s greatest players to ever play the game!  Even Jerry Jones stopped by to thank the guys for their service!!!

Friday evening, he made his way across town to host warriors at the Leather & Laces party, hosted by Donnie Whalberg & Jenny McCarthy.

And we also provided tickets to an incredibly inspiring warrior to the Minnesota Wild game!

With barely any sleep all week, my dad was exhausted…  Thankfully the Walkers, a warrior we hosted in 2012, invited my dad to stay the night.  There my dad got a good night sleep and said he was asleep by the time his head hit the pillow.  But with the Superbowl in town, there was little time to relax.  My dad was back up Early Saturday morning to host warriors at the Superbowl Breakfast.  There, they presented the Bart Starr Award to Benjamin Watson.  Ben took time to meet the warriors after the breakfast.

And finally on Saturday afternoon, my dad met up with 3 of the Warriors we were hosting at the Big Game & got ready to make wishes come true at Superbowl LII!!!
