Our friends at VACO Nashville donated their suite & gave us the opportunity to fill it with deserving warriors!

VACO Nashville & Operation Warrior Wishes teamed up to host 12 warriors on a fun filled day in Nashville.

Thanks to Signature Limousine the warriors got to ride in Style in their own limo bus on a pregame pub crawl to some of music city’s best bars & Breweries, including Little Harpeth and Yazoo Brewing .

th

The pub crawl kicked off at The Little Harpeth Brewery. They craft in the tradition of German lagers, consistent with the beers of pre-prohibition Middle Tennesseans. Their mission is to preserve the past, enjoy the present, and sustain the future of brewing in Middle Tennessee.

Next everyone piled back in the Limo and headed to Yazoo Brewing. Yazoo Brewing really started with a homebrewing kit bought from the back pages of Rolling Stone in 1993. In October 2003, they opened the doors and began selling kegs of Yazoo Pale Ale, Dos Perros, Spring Wheat, and Onward Stout to local bars and restaurants, quickly gaining an enthusiastic local following.  Yazoo beer can now be found in most of Tennessee, Mississippi, and northern Alabama.  A big Thank You to Allen for taking good care of our warriors at Yazoo.

Unfortunately there was not enough time for the 3rd Pub Crawl Stop at Tennessee Brew Works , so the limo bus dropped everyone off at their final stop, Honky Tonk Central.

Honky Tonk Central is Nashville’s latest and greatest honky tonk on world famous ‘Lower Broadway’ in downtown Nashville, TN.  with 3 full stories of live music, great food and great times, Honky Tonk Central is the destination stop when in Nashville.

The guys were having a great time & were even brought up on stage and honored for their service while the band sang the Star Spangled Banner… And the game hadn’t even started yet.

Everyone walked over to Bridgestone Arena in the rain and got a cool group photo before the game.

We had a nice mix of mostly Army, but Navy, AirForce and Coast Guard also represented in our group.

As the game began, all of the guests were treated to nachos and wings , as well as an awesome dessert cart later in the second period .

Unfortunately, the Preds had a rough night and fell 4-1 to the Sabres, despite some pretty heavy hometown cheering from the VACO suite .

It was a fantastic day thanks to a lot of people-first of all kudos to our friend Keith for setting most of it up We also would like to thank VACO for donating the suite and Blair , VACO rep, for keeping our guys in order.  We would also like to thank all of our pub crawl sponsors Little Harpeth, Yazoo Brewing, Tennessee Brew Works & Honky Tonk Central for providing an awesome pregame experience.   Finally we would like to thank our friend Bill for taking time out of his weekend to drive and help host this annual event .
