Honoring The Legacy Of PFC Aaron Toppen At The Hawks Game!

Operation Warrior Wishes was honored to host the family of PFC Aaron Toppen at the Chicago Blackhawks game in his honor.
On June 9, 2014, at the age of 19, PFC Aaron Toppen lost his life during a joint operation of Afghan and NATO forces in Afghanistan. Aaron grew up in Mokena, IL, attended Mokena 159 schools and graduated from Lincoln-Way East High School in 2013. From a young age, PFC Aaron Toppen was incredibly patriotic and dreamed of following in the footsteps of both his maternal and paternal grandfathers by enlisting in the military to serve the Country he loved.
Today, Aaron’s family has established a non profit organization in his name to keep Aaron’s legacy alive by helping other brave men and women who serve our country.
Each year they raise money in Aaron’s name at various events and donate that money back to various veterans organizations.
The Toppen family has once again chosen Operation Warrior Wishes as one of their charities. It is always an honor to host this family and host warriors at events in Aaron’s name.
We cannot thank them enough for all they have sacrificed and for all they continue to do to Keep Aaron’s legacy alive. We will never forget freedom is not free and are forever grateful for your generosity.
