Game 48 – Warrior Wishes Come True At Superbowl LI!

For the 5th consecutive year, Operation Warrior Wishes has been honored and humbled to have hosted military heroes & their families at all 32 NFL stadiums in 1 season!
In fact, we hosted warriors at a total of 48 NFL games this season including 3 playoff games & the Pro Bowl!
It’s been an incredible season filled with unforgettable once in a lifetime memories! And we are not done yet! Super Bowl Week is always one of our favorite weeks of our mission. It’s by far the busiest & craziest week of the year for sure!
Instead of flying home after making wishes come true at the Pro Bowl in Orlando, he flew directly to Houston to kickoff the wild SuperBowl Week!
We coordinated making wishes come true for more than 30 warriors at 13 exclusive Super Bowl events throughout the week!
It all started on Wednesday January, 30th at the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team’s annual Flag Football game.
On Thursday, Jan 31st, we hosted warriors at the Legends For Charity Dinner…
And the EA Sports Madden Bowl.
On Friday February 1st, Warrior Wishes came true at the NFL Hall of Fame Luncheon…
The Leather & Laces Friday night Party…
And the ultra exclusive ESPN Party!
Saturday February 2nd was the busiest day of the week. Wishes came true at the Bart Starr SuperBowl Breakfast….
The DirecTV Beach Bowl… The Leigh Steinberg Party… Taste of the NFL… And The Leather & Laces Saturday night party!
My dad also picked up Marine John Peck & Army Sean Adams from the airport and took them out to dinner before hosting them both at the Big Game on Sunday!
Before the game, John & Sean were treated to the ultimate Super Bowl Players Tailgate thanks to our friends at Bullseye! John was super excited to have had the opportunity to meet Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri at the tailgate. John hopes to one day become a celebrity chef and guy said “we will cook together one day!”
The crazy week all led up to Super Bowl LI. When the Atlanta Falcons faced off against the New England Patriots! Sean, being from Georgia, was rooting for the Falcons. John, being from the Northeast, was rooting for the Patriots.
Sean had a lot to cheer about in the first half and it seemed as if the Falcons were going to coast to an easy win. However, you can never count Tom Brady & the Patriots out. And John had the last laugh.
An unbelievable 2nd half resulted in an incredible comeback win by the Patriots and went down as one of the best Super Bowl games in history!
Operation warrior wishes would like to thank all of the great sponsors and partners for helping us make Warrior Wishes come true all week long! We couldn’t have made it all possible without all of you!
First and foremost, we want to thank the NFL and ESPN! We also want to show our appreciation to Athletes in Action, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, EA Sports, Taste of the NFL, Ocean 2 Ocean Productions, Greg from Pros vsJoes, The Mission Continues, WWAFT, Leigh Steinberg, Bart Starr Jr, Guy Fieri, Chris Berman, Houston Metro, the Houston Fire Dept, the Bullseye Tailgate Group & all of the players and celebrities for their part in hosting and providing access for almost 40 military heroes during SuperBowl Week!
TOGETHER WE MAKE WARRIOR WISHES COME TRUE!
Most importantly, Operation Warrior Wishes would like to thank all the Warriors we hosted all week long. We want you all to know that your service & sacrifices are appreciated & will never be forgotten.
My dad will be back home for about a month to plan our 5th annual Battlefields to Ballfields mission. Stay tuned for more details!
