Game 72 – Warrior Wishes Come True at the Pro Bowl!

We were honored to host Army Warriors Andrew Peden and Anthony Johnson in the front row at this year’s Pro Bowl in Orlando!
SSG Andrew Peden enlisted in the Army in 2006. He has served on deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and Jordan. While serving in Afghanistan he was on a routine patrol when he stepped on an IED causing him to have his leg amputated below the knee. But nothing stops Andrew and he continues to serve on Active Duty to this day and serve our country! We had the honor of getting to meet Andrew in Baltimore on our first ever All32in17 mission in 2012. Andrew was the guest of LCpl Michael Martinez, a fellow wounded veteran recovering with Andrew at Walter Reed. My dad enjoyed catching up with him and hosting him at this years Pro Bowl!
Anthony Johnson was born in Buffalo, New York. He joined the Army just 3 days after graduating high school and served 8 years before becoming a military contractor for Northrop Grumman. He joined the Navy in 2000 and served until 2013! Anthony was nominated for a Bills game by his daughter who says “My dad is our Hero because he’s always been there for us and has fought and overcome many obstacles. He taught us the value of a great education and led by example by receiving his Bachelors in Organizational Management and then his Masters in Educational Leadership.” Anthony currently lives in Orlando and joined my dad earlier this season to see his Bills play in Miami. It was an honor to host him at the Pro Bowl!
My dad will be back in Chicago on Monday to host a large group of Warriors at the Chicago Bulls game before making his way out to Miami to make wishes come true all week long at Super Bowl events including the BIG GAME in Miami! Stay tuned for all the details…
