Game 70 – Warrior Wishes Come True at the Packers Playoff Game!

My dad enjoyed a week off of football last week for the first time since the preseason. But we made Wishes come true at both the Texans and Saints playoff games!

And my dad also hosted warriors at the Bulls and Hawks games while he was in town.

This week we made wishes come true at every Divisional Playoff game! Yesterday in San Francisco and Baltimore and earlier today we had warriors at the Chiefs wild game in Kansas City!

This morning my dad headed up north to host Air Force SSG Shane Glasgow at the Packers game in Green Bay! Shane’s brother in law, who was his guest for the game, lives near us and gave my dad a ride to the land of cheese.

Shane has been serving for 6 years and is currently in the Air Force reserve. Lucky for him he had a training in Wisconsin today which gave him the opportunity to attend the game. He went straight from his training to Lambeau Field to meet up with his brother in law and my dad.

We were able to score 2nd row seats to the playoff game for a great deal! So the guys got to enjoy the Seahawks and Packers matchup from up close and personal! They even ended up on TV!

While they were inside the stadium, my dad was across the street watching the game from Krohl’s.  Early on it looked as if the Packers were going to blowout the Seahawks. They took a 21-3 lead into halftime. But as we saw earlier in the day, no lead is safe…

The Seahawks gave it their all and made it a one score game with 9 plus minutes left in the game. But neither team scored again and the Packers went on to beat the Seahawks by the score of 28-23!  Shane and his brother in law celebrated the win before meeting back up with my dad after the game.

We would like to thank SSG Glasgow for his service and sacrifices. It was an honor to host you in Green Bay!

Thankfully the Pack won, but unfortunately snow began falling and delayed their trip home a little longer than expected. My dad got home just in time to turn around and head to the airport. He will be in New Orleans tomorrow to make wishes come true at the College Football National Championship game between Clemson and LSU! Stay tuned for all the details!
