Game 43 – The Houston Texans Make Warrior Wishes Come True!

After a crazy Sunday where we made wishes come true at 4 games across the country in one day…
My dad got a rare “day off” due to the Monday night game being played in Mexico.
So instead of being at a game, he spent his night with our board members planning out upcoming events which include the Army Navy game and a Texas sized Cowboys party in Dallas.
So far this season we have been honored to make Warrior Wishes come true at 42 NFL games and at numerous other events. And we’re kicking off week 12 in Houston at the Texans game.
Throughout the years we have made some unforgettable memories in Houston. Here are some of our favorites.
After watching the grandkids, my dad made his way to the airport Wednesday night and flew out to Houston for a good night sleep at the airport.
He was up early Thursday morning ready to make some Warrior Wishes come true at NRG Stadium!
Today we had the honor of hosting Army Medic Tim Stroud, Army MSGT Donald Couch, Army 1SG Denise Couch, Army Spc Michael Rodriguez, Army Sgt Chris Moreno, Navy Veteran Luz Cervantes and Marines Eric Morante and LaShonda Johnson At the Houston Texans game. Everyone met for dinner before the game, thanks to our friends at Olive Garden, and they all got to know each other.
After filling up on “never ending pasta bowls” the group made their way to NRG stadium to take the field and watch the Colts and Texans warm up before the game!
Operation Warrior Wishes would like to thank our friend Erin, Baker Hostetler LLP, and the Houston Texans for donating tickets and field passes for the game!
As game time approached the warriors made their way up to their seats to kickoff week 12 in Houston!
The Colts and Texans were in a battle for the division lead. The 2 teams traded the lead multiple times throughout the game. But in the end, Deshaun Watson & Deandre Hopkins connected in the end zone for the 2nd and the Texans won the game 20-17!
Operation Warrior Wishes would like to thank Tim, Donald, Denise, Michael, Chris, Luz, Eric and LaShonda for their service and sacrifices. It was an honor to host you all at this Texans win!
My dad will be heading home to make wishes come true at a celebrity bowling event on Friday night before heading out to Cincinnati to make wishes come true at the Bengals game on Sunday and the Rams game in LA on Monday. Stay tuned…
