Game 26 – Warrior Wishes Come True At Da Bears Game!

On a day where Warrior Wishes came true at the Redskins game and the Titans game…

We were also making Warrior Wishes Come True in Chicago at the Bears game!

Thanks to our friends at Grandview Homes and Sebern Custom Homes we are making wishes come true at every Bears home game this season!  Here are some of the highlights from this season!

We cannot thank Sebern and Grandview Homes enough for their support!

Today we had the honor of hosting Marine Sgt William Cree and Air Force Sgt Chad Myers at Soldier Field.

William Cree joined the Marine Corps at the age of 18 straight out of high school.  He was shipped off to boot camp the day after his 18th birthday.  William served on 3 deployments and  reenlisted because he enjoyed being a leader of Marines and teaching them what he knew.   About a year after he reenlisted William was insured in a severe motorcycle accident and paralyzed his arm.  Due to the injury, he was no longer able to stay in active duty so he was medically separated from the Marines.

We met Sgt Cree a few years ago at the NFL draft when it was in Chicago and invited him to join us at a Bears game.  It was an honor to make it happen!

Sgt Chad Myers recently retired from the Air Force after more than 20 years of service!  He was nominated by his mom for this experience and wished for her son and his father to enjoy a Bears game together!  It was an honor to make the wish come true!  They even got to meet former Bears superstar running back Matt Forte!

Operation Warrior Wishes would like to thank William & Chad for their dedicated service and sacrifices to our country!
