The St. Louis Cardinals Make Warrior Wishes Come True Again!

My dad has been on the road this week making Warrior Wishes come true at a Cardinals game, a Rangers game & 2 Astros games!
Today he has a “day off” kinda… unfortunately there were no reasonable options to get from Houston to St. Louis in time for today’s game. So while he spends all day riding a bus to St Louis, our friend, Army SGT Andy Cochran “Stepped up to the plate” in my dad’s absence to host the group of warriors at today’s Cards game.
SGT Cochran was a guest of ours at the St. Louis Rams game in 2013. Since then, he has helped us make wishes come true multiple times in the Gateway city.
Andy was honored to be hosting Army Lt Col Amanda Terry, who was nominated by her Marine husband Ed Husted, Army Master SGT Kenneth Burns and Army Lt Col Patrick Moore. We would like to congratulate Patrick on getting promoted to Lt Col just last month!
Everyone met up with Andy at the Ballpark Village, where Brett continues to help us make wishes come true before Cardinals games. He had dinner for 8 all set up, complete with a Tour of Ballpark Village from “Beerman” Tony Caradonna, who had given us such a great tour last week. We cannot thank Brett, Tony & everyone at Ballpark village enough for their hospitality over the years!
The group enjoyed the delicious meal & Tour before they headed into Busch stadium to watch the Milwaukee Brewers take on the St Louis Cardinals.
Unfortunately, the game did not go the Cardinals way, however it was an entertaining game as the Brewers and Cardinals played extra innings knotted up 4-4. A wild 10th inning put the Brewers up 3 runs. The Cardinals did their best to fight back, but fell short losing the game 7-5.
Despite the loss, SGT Cochran said that everyone enjoyed their experience & had a great time!
We would like to start out by thanking Andy for hosting everyone in my dad’s absence. We also want to thank Mark and the St Louis Cardinals for providing tickets, , Brett and the Ball Park Village for once again providing pregame meals & tours, and New Era Cap for providing the Cardinals Caps!
TOGETHER WE MAKE WARRIOR WISHES COME TRUE!
Most importantly, thank you to Army Master SGT Kent Burns, Lt Col Patrick Moore, Army SGT Andy Cochran, Marine Ed Husted and Lt Col Amanda Terry for your service & sacrifices to our great country!
My dad will be in St Louis later tonight to catch a bus west to Kansas City where he will be hosting warriors at the Royals game tomorrow. Stay tuned for more details!
