Our “PALS” Make Warrior Wishes Come True In Philly!

Our “PALS” Make Warrior Wishes Come True In Philly!

Matt Steichen May 31, 2016 June 9th, 2016

On this Memorial Day, While my dad was hosting Sgt Joey Welsh in Baltimore, there were 3 other Warrior Wishes coming true in Philadelphia thanks to our friends at Patient Air Lift Services (PALS).

Last month we kicked off a great partnership with “PALS” out of Farmingdale, NY.  Patient AirLift Services arranges volunteer medical flights and free air transportation for needy individuals throughout the greater Northeast region, from Virginia to Maine, Ohio to Massachusetts. They have now expanded their program to make some Warrior Wishes come true and it has been an awesome partnership!

On April, 4th we worked with PALS to make Warrior Wishes came true at Fenway Park in Boston .

This month we teamed up to host Warriors Michael Cain, Gail Schnell and Meagan Dennis who were honored with a road trip to Philadelphia and Citizens Bank Park.

Big thank you to the pilot Rich, who saved the special experience by offering to drive, when inclement weather could have canceled the trip.

Meagan, Gail and Michael were honored on the field Pre Game and Meagan recited the Pledge of Allegiance in front of thousands of fans.  And of course they got photo with Philly Fanatic .

My dad’s overnight bus from Baltimore, got him into Philadelphia early Tues Am which was perfect, as he was able to have breakfast with the Warriors and meet Rich before they headed back to New York. It was pretty clear that everyone really enjoyed themselves both last night and at breakfast telling the stories .

We’d like to thank the Phillies for honoring the warriors on the field & Rich, Eileen & Karen at PALS for helping make Warrior Wishes come true in Philadelphia!  Most importantly, thanks to Meagan,Gail and Michael for their service to our country!!!

TOGETHER WE MAKE WARRIOR WISHES COME TRUE!
