Globe Life Makes Wishes Come True At The Rangers Game!

After an awesome experience making wishes come true at the St Louis Cardinals game….
My dad was back on the bus heading south to Texas to make wishes come true at the Rangers & Astros games!
My dad said the 16 hour bus ride was “long and boring.” However, the $1 bus ride was well worth it. My dad and more importantly the big group of warriors we were about to host we’re excited for the Rangers game!
Our trip to the Texas Rangers games every year are some of our favorite experiences. Why? Because our friends Cory, Alfredo & Globe Life ALWAYS go above and beyond the call of duty to make Warrior Wishes come true. They help us create lasting memories & provide once in a lifetime experiences at every game they host us at!
Since 2013, Globe Life and the Rangers have provided a suite for the warriors & their family members. They also make custom Rangers Jerseys for each of the Warriors in attendance! We cannot thank them enough for their generosity & hospitality over the years!
My dad arrived in Dallas early. Our friend and previous guest Jared DeRuby picked my dad up and made a couple of stops on their way to Arlington. They first stopped to meet Jared’s uncle,Steve, who has a ticket business and then stopped to visit David Vobora’s Adaptive Training Foundation. They do some incredible work for warriors. David & his foundation have nominated many warriors over the years. It was nice to finally meet him.
Before the Rangers game started, my dad invited the warriors to take a tour of AT&T stadium before the game. The Cowboys stadium tour has become a tradition before our Rangers game.
It’s one of the coolest stadium tours in the NFL mainly because it’s one of the coolest venues in all of sports!
Unfortunately, not all of our guests could make the tour because it was during the day, and work and/or travel schedules got in the way.
Navy Corpsman Thomas Henderson, Army Sgt Raina Scott, their families & the Gold Star family of Fallen Navy warrior Brian Tingle had a great time touring the press box, Locker Rooms & they even got to take pictures on the Cowboys star located on the 50 yard line!
After the Tour, the group made their way to Globe Life Park, home of the Texas Rangers, to meet the rest of our guests for the evening. We always meet out front by the “TEXAS” sign so we could get photos of all of our guests making the “X.”
In addition to the warriors we hosted at the Cowboys Stadium tour, we were also honored to be hosting Navy Corpsman Travis Livingston, Navy Corpsman Chance Field, Army Sgt Chris Ranucci, Army Sgt Jody Moore, Army Spc Lawrence Green, Marine Cpl Jared DeRuby, Marine Cpl Patrick Myers & Air Force warrior Christopher Wolff at todays Rangers game.
Once inside the stadium, Cory, from Globe Life, greeting each of our guests & sincerely thanked each warrior & their family members as they entered the suite. Everyone spent their first hour hanging out in the suite getting to know each other over some delicious food and drinks.
As they always do, Globe Life surprised the warriors once again with personalized Texas Rangers Jerseys. My dad loves seeing the warriors excited reactions when Corey reaches into “locker” and pulls out each customized jersey.
Thanks to our friends at New Era, the warriors also got to pick out new Rangers caps to go along with their New Jersey’s.
As game time approached, the warriors found their seats & watched the Rangers take on Mike Trout & the Angels. With the game knotted up 3-3 in the top of the 8th, Trout blasted a 3 run homer to give the Angels the lead for good. Despite the 6-3 loss, the warriors & their families stayed after the game to watch the post game fireworks show.
It was a memorable night for everyone involved, especially the warriors. We couldn’t have made it all possible without the help of Corey, Alfredo, Globe Life & the Texas Rangers. We cannot thank them enough for their continued support. From the Suite to the jerseys, they truly “knocked it out of the park” again!
We also want to thank the Dallas Cowboys/AT&T stadium for providing the Stadium Tour and New Era for outfitting the warriors with new Texas Rangers caps!
TOGETHER WE MAKE WARRIOR WISHES COME TRUE!
And Most importantly, we want to thank all the warriors for their service & sacrifices. We truly hope you & your families all had an unforgettable experience!
My dad will be hopping on an early morning bus to Houston to host heroes at the Houston Astros games the next 2 days. Stay tuned for more details!
