Globe Life Makes Warrior Wishes Come True in Texas!

After making warrior wishes come true in Houston thanks to the Astros, my dad was treated to a 4 star hotel for $65 thanks to “naming our own price.”
But in the morning it was back to reality and my dad was back on the bus headed to Dallas.
Upon his arrival in the “Big D” he hopped on another bus for $2.50 to Arlington to meet up with the Warriors outside the stadium by the “Globe Life” TEXAS sign.
Over the past few years Globe Life Insurance has gone above and beyond to help us make Warrior Wishes come true at the Texas Rangers games. From suites to customized jerseys for each of the Warriors, they have provided unforgettable memories to all the Warriors who have attended. Today would be no different.
For the 3rd straight year Globe Life hit one out of the park & went above & beyond to make Warrior Wishes come true for Marine Sgt Marcus Burleson, Marine LCpl Hardy Mills, Marine Sgt Omar Milan, Army Sgt Justin Shaffer, Army Sgt Stephen Jackel, Army Sgt Adam Mayo, Army Spc Lawrence Green, Army Spc Emmett Pryor & 10 year old Quadruple amputee, Memphis Lafferty.
Globe Life provided a suite for the Warriors & their families, as well as authentic Texas Rangers jerseys customized with the Warriors names stitched on the back! New Era outfitted them with new Rangers Caps to go with their new jerseys. It was an awesome day with an incredible group of Warriors!
Everyone enjoyed the delicious food & incredible views from the suite. Trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the 8th, the Rangers tied the game on a double only to give up the lead again in the top of the 9th. But much like the Warriors we were honored to be hosting, the Rangers didn’t give up. A lead off walk, a sacrifice & single sent the game into extra innings.
The White Sox loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the 12th. Todd Frazier stepped to the plate and hit a grand slam to put the game out of reach. Frazier went 4-6 on the night driving in 6 RBI’s! He was the reason the Rangers eventually lost the game 8-4.
TOGETHER WE MAKE WARRIOR WISHES COME TRUE!
So after a week on the road, making stops in KC, St. Louis, Houston & Arlinton, My dad will be back at Globe life stadium tomorrow for one final game hosting a Gold Star family at the Rangers game before he catches his flight home tomorrow night.
