Honoring Army Sgt Ken Harker & SPC Eric Lund.

Army SGT Kenneth Harker was on his 2nd deployment in June 2008 when he lost both of his legs in Baghdad, Iraq when an EFP (Explosively Formed Penetrator) tore through his HMMWV.

SPC Eric Lund joined the Army National Guard in 2003. He served with the 126th C Company and was in Afghanistan when he was injured in May 2012 in a roadside bomb that injured 10 soldiers. Lund lost both of his arms, suffered additional severe injuries, and he is continuing physical therapy to make the most use of his prosthetic arms at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

We met the warriors for breakfast before the game Whole Foods Market Detroit before making our way to the stadium to watch the pregame warm ups from the field thanks to theDetroit Lions. While on the field 10 minutes before game time,Matthew Stafford surprised each of the warriors with game balls before heading into the locker room to get ready to take on the Bears. It was a moment that these warrior will never forget!
