Honoring Marine Sgt Joe Washam & Army Sgt Jeremiah Dee. On April 26, 2004, Joe’s team had been carrying out their mission to remove containers from a suspected chemicals weapons site in Baghdad when all the sudden there was an explosion & Sgt Washam’s entire body was engulfed in flames.

Joe recalls looking at his body, his hands were bloody, burnt crisp, and the sleeves of his uniform were blown off. He was black and charred and covered in soot from head to toe.”

Joe had to learn to walk again. And recover from third degree burns over 40 percent of his body. He is challenged daily. Joe currently lives in the Dallas area with his wife & son & is a bigDallas Cowboys fan.

Joes friend Jeremiah joined the Army when he was 19 and
served for ten years as a mechanic / crew chief on the
Blackhawk helicopters. He also served on the downed aircraft recovery team. on
November 15th, 2003 two Blackhawks collided over Mosul, Iraq. Jeremiah had many friends aboard the helicopters. Jeremiahs recovery team had the responsibility to do the aircraft separation for body extraction and remove all of the wreckage from the site. To this day Jeremiah has a difficult time talking about that day. Dee also injured his back while serving our country.

We would like to thank Tailgate32 & Buffalo Wild Wings for helping us make these #warriorwishes come true!
